Marshall Stahl has been involved in real estate development for over 30 years, both in North America and Southeast Asia. Most recently, Marshall was Vice President of Miromar Development Corp, a Southwest, Florida multi-faceted development company and Senior Vice President of the Phoenix based Ellman Companies, the developers of Westgate City Center in Glendale, Arizona. Marshall also held the position of Senior Vice President of Development of Univest Land (Public) Company Limited in Bangkok, Thailand where he spearheaded the development of an 8.2 million square foot mixed-use project. Prior to that he was engaged by Simon Property Group with responsibilities including the initial leasing efforts of Mall of America, the largest shopping center/entertainment complex in the United States. Marshall earned his BA degree in Economics from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Jason Cupo is an attorney licensed to practice law in Arizona. He attended Arizona State University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Literature. While at ASU, he was a Provost’s Scholar, a Greaves’ Scholar, and a recipient of the English Department’s Jules J. Anatole writing award. Jason began practicing law in 2010 after attending the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, where he was a Pedrick Scholar. Prior to joining AZ Sourcing as in-house legal counsel, Jason was an associate attorney for a boutique law firm in Scottsdale, where his practice focused on real estate law, construction law, bankruptcy law, business law, corporate governance, and general commercial litigation. Jason joined AZ Sourcing as in-house legal counsel in 2015; he was named General Counsel for the company in December 2016.
Vice President, Accounting
Michael Bratton attended Brophy College Prep in Phoenix, AZ. He furthered his studies at Arizona State University, receiving a BS degree in Business with an emphasis in Accounting. After passing the CPA exam, he entered the commercial construction field and has spent the past 22 years in financial management for industry suppliers and contractors in the Phoenix metropolitan area. Michael joined AZ Sourcing, LLC in 2013 as Controller and was promoted to Vice President, Accounting in 2018. He has been involved with a number of prominent development projects in the Phoenix MSA including WestWorld of Scottsdale, Chandler City Hall and Bank One Ballpark (now Chase Field).
Senior Vice President, General Administration & Public Relations
Patrick Welch received a BA in Economics/Business Administration from Hope College and an MBA in Finance from the University of Denver. Prior to joining AZ Sourcing, Patrick served as senior managing executive in charge of all legal, human resources, public relations and marketing matters for a large multi-entity company and was instrumental in the launch of the Chinese Cultural Center in Phoenix, AZ. He was also Vice President, Director of Broadcasting with a large media company and was responsible for all financial matters relating to the company’s broadcast division which comprised 6 television and 12 radio station properties. Patrick has continually been involved in various public service affiliations and non-profit organizations to include an appointment by the Mayor of Phoenix to the City of Phoenix Pacific Rim Advisory Committee as well as serving on the Board of Directors for Valley Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Junior Achievement, the Rocky Mountain Kidney Foundation and has performed volunteer work for a non-profit radio station for the blind and visually impaired. He also holds a teaching certificate from the State Board of Directors for Community Colleges of Arizona.
Executive Vice President of Construction & Development

Tom Blankenship joined AZ Commercial Contractors, a subsidiary entity of AZ Sourcing, LLC, in August 2017, bringing three decades of experience, spanning the full breadth of the construction industry. A licensed general contractor in Arizona and California, Mr. Blankenship is accomplished in all facets of community development, from land procurement and financing, to design, plan approval, contract negotiation, scheduling, and construction. He has a long track record of leading teams to deliver construction projects on time, on budget, and with exceptional quality. Prior to being appointed to lead AZ Commercial Contractors, Mr. Blankenship was President of Construction for DHI Communities a builder of mixed-use multi-family apartments and condos nationwide. DHI is a subsidiary of D.R. Horton, a Fortune 500 company that consistently ranks as one of America’s top two builders. Prior to that, he was responsible for development and multi-family construction for Scottsdale’s Cypress Development Group, a DC Ranch-based company focused on building high-end, luxury residential properties. Earlier in his career, Mr. Blankenship held leadership positions in California and Arizona with various builders where he oversaw construction and project management on numerous multi-family, commercial, retail and single-family projects. This included orchestrating complex urban infill and urban renewal projects. He also spent several years with Weyerhaeuser Company’s Pardee Homes, one of the nation’s premiere builders, constructing over 2,000 homes per year in large, master-planned communities that incorporated schools, parks, community centers and retail centers.
